I kid you not, this is David Starsky. Seriously! That's his name! Okay, well, his full name is Jeremiah David Starsky, but everybody just calls him David. His wife, Angela, sent me these pictures and the information on this page so we could feature David and his S&H Torino for the first time here on his 50th birthday, April 16, 2007!

David just finished painting this car on March 25, which was a significant day because it is Paul Michael "David Starsky" Glaser's birthday! This Torino will be David's "daily driver." He is a volunteer fireman, a part time police officer, and soon to be a County Constable, so the car will put in a lot of duty hours, and it has all the necessary lights and a siren in it.

David got this car in 2005 and gave it the "Starsky" treatment himself using the infamous Brent Williams Stripe Kit. This car had no engine or transmission in it when a guy GAVE IT to David in 2005 just because he thought someone named "David Starsky" should have it! David put in a 351 Modified, FMX transmission, and a 9" rear end with 3.25 gears.

This is the TENTH Gran Torino David Starsky has owned, and as if this story wasn't already hard to believe, one of his previous cars has been on this site for a year under its new owner, George F.
