This S&H Gran Torino was raffled off by the Massachusetts Division of the American Cancer Society on June 1, 1994. They advertised that it was in "showroom condition" and judging by the photos Steve E. sent me, I don't think they were exaggerating! These scanned images don't do the photos justice. This Torino is beautiful! The original maroon interior is rare, but not unheard of. The white seats, door panels, and headliner appear to be pristine!

In 2005, I found out the car was donated by John C. when a friend of his died of cancer. The last John had heard, the car was still in the Massachesettes area somewhere.

The raffle, he said, raied $10,000!

This Torino has a 460, Tilt Steering Wheel and Cruise Control, air conditioning, shift on the column, and only 22,000 miles on it! Tickets for this car were sold for $75 each, and the car is probably worth roughly $20,000 (based on recent sales of cars in similar condition).
