Derek P.'s '76 Dealer Replica
"Starsky & Hutch®" Gran Torino

This is a dealer S&H 1976 Torino Gran Torino -
meaning the dealer added the stripe to a standard
Gran Torino to sell it as a "Starsky & Hutch type" car.
That was a common practice, and prompted Ford to release
the 1,000 Limited Edition Starsky and Hutch Torinos

Derek's Dad bought this Torino from the dealer in '76
and gave it to Derek for his 16th birthday!
It originally came with Magnum 500 wheels and
351M backed by a C6 transmission. It now has a rebuilt
351 Cleveland with an FMX transmission.
