| Barbara grew up watching Starsky & Hutch, and learned
from the show what it meant to be a true-blue loyal friend. The show has always been special to her because it
taught her this important lesson. Barbara also thought Starsky drove the coolest thing on wheels, but she could
not drive at the time so getting her own Torino was out of the question. After the movie came out in 2004, Barbara and her appraiser, Jason of autoappraise.com, started their quest to find the perfect "Starsky & Hutch" Torino for her. They had a great time along the way and made many new friends. They also had the privilege of inspecting cars used in the movie and TV show. |

| After a three-year search, they finally found a “gem” in a tiny town in the middle of Ohio. The car was the original owner's prized possession, and it was in mint condition. The only thing "wrong" with the car was that it was brown. | ||||||

| Pete at Xcaliber Auto Restorations (visit their site to see more pictures of Barbara's Torino) gave the car it's "Starsky" paint job, and now Barbara says the car looks totally awesome. "It's hard to believe that the car is 34 years old," she says. "It looks almost new, and is now my prized possession." | ||||||
