Los Ford Gran Torinos®1974
de Augusto Torres |
| There are two different cars on this page, both belonging to Augusto Torres in Santiago, Chile! One is finished and the other is not, but I put them both here until the second one is finished. When you see the unfinished car (below) you can imagine the finished car (top) went through a similar restoration process. | |||
| The finished car is a 1974 Gran Torino with a 302 engine and automatic C6 transmission. Augusto spent two years restoring it - and it's beautiful! | |||
| The unfinished car is also a 1974 Gran Torino, but it has a 351 Cleveland with manual transmission - a top loader with Hurst shifter! As you can see, it was originally a banana but is becoming a tomato. | |||
| If you don't wish you had one of these car-flippers in your garage, you just ain't right. How cool would it be to be able to flip a car around like a chicken on a rotisserie? | |||
| I'm not sure if this is the first red frame I've seen, but it sure looks nice. Look at how good the non-red parts look next to it, rather than everything under the car being black. | |||
| The lighting in that last photo is very mysterious, isn't it? Very nice! I look forward to seeing this car when it is finished! Thank you for sharing, Augusto! | |||
